Events, Workshops Party Bookings

1. Booking & Payment

A deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking date and time. Of this deposit, £50 is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 14 days prior to the event date.

For bookings made within 14 days of the event, full payment is required at the time of booking.

2. Cancellations by the Client

All cancellations must be made in writing (email is acceptable). The following cancellation terms apply:

More than 30 days before the event:
£50 of the deposit is non-refundable.

14–30 days before the event:
50% of the total booking fee is non-refundable.

Less than 14 days before the event:
100% of the total booking fee is non-refundable.

3. Bespoke Items & Materials

Where bespoke or personalised items are requested (including, but not limited to, named items, custom party materials, or pre-prepared resources), any costs associated with these are non-refundable. This includes both materials purchased and time already spent creating or preparing these items. These costs may be retained in addition to any applicable cancellation fees.

4. Administration & Loss of Booking

When a booking is made, your date is reserved exclusively, and other enquiries may be declined.

Costs incurred include (but are not limited to):

  • Scheduling and diary management

  • Client communication and planning

  • Preparation and allocation of resources

  • Loss of potential alternative bookings

Where a refund is issued outside of the above terms, a reasonable administration fee may be retained.

5. Rescheduling

Wherever possible, rescheduling will be offered as a first option. Requests to reschedule must be made at least 14 days prior to the event date. Rescheduling is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. If a suitable alternative date cannot be agreed, the cancellation policy will apply.

6. Health, Safety & Suitability

Face paints and materials used are professional cosmetic-grade, hypoallergenic, and vegan, and comply with UK and FDA safety standards. Strict hygiene practices are followed at all times.

No face painting or glitter will be applied to children under 3 years old, in line with safety and insurance requirements.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue face painting for any child who appears unwell, or where the skin is broken, bruised, or irritated.

Face painting will be stopped immediately if a child shows any signs of distress or discomfort.

Face painting will only be carried out on children who are willing and happy to participate.

Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times, and consent from a parent or guardian must be given prior to painting.

We are committed to creating a safe and positive experience and will always prioritise the wellbeing and comfort of each child.

While all reasonable care is taken, Create Well Project cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions or skin sensitivities. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to inform us of any known allergies prior to the event.

7. Cancellations by Create Well Project

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, a full refund will be provided. Where possible, we will also offer an alternative date or suitable replacement.

8. Corporate vs Private Bookings

Terms may vary slightly for corporate or large-scale events, and any variations will be agreed in writing at the time of booking.

9. Agreement to Terms

By making payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
